The three have played together since 2007, when they played their first tour – in Italy. Since then their concerts have included Skanderborg Festival in 2008 and 2011.

The Wedgwood Band’s first album "Journey Through Love" came out in 2008, and in contrast to the first, their second album "Thrive" is a closer reflection of Michaels past – Classic Rock.

As a result, the phrase "New Rock Like It Used To Be" came about during the recording.

Mike Wedgwood

MICHAEL WEDGWOOD "Singer, songwriter, bassist and producer Michael Wedgwood is an unassuming gentleman with an impressive CV. In the 70´s he was in the very top echelon of English rock, and was voted second best bassist (after Paul McCartney) by Melody Maker in 1974. If his record collection was to reflect tours and studio work in his career it would include Deep Purple and Elton John, Frank Zappa, Fleetwood Mac, Weather Report, and more, who he was in the opening act for. In the studio he worked with Elton John and Kiki Dee, John Entwistle (the Who), Moody Blues, and Gordon Haskell, among others."

He is most known for his work in the ground-breaking bands Curved Air and Caravan

Guitarist Henrik Skriver has played with Shotgone, Poul Krebs, CMT’s, Kersten Hentze, Wild Roses and Charley Macoy, Kim Schwarts, JD Haring and many other well-known Danish artists. When BB King "came to town" at Skanderborg Festival, it was Henrik that was invited to play on stage with him. A great honour for BB! He also has the Skriver & Bjarnesen Blues Band (with Michael on bass).
